Primary fields of research
My primary interest within research and teaching concerns sociological theory, sociology of emotions, organisational and worklife, sociology of conflict, violence and personal life (love, friendship, courage). I am a member of the research group "Culture and civil society", and for the moment I am developing a project within the new research areas called the personal life.

Project concerning conflict, emotion and violence as part of the establishing of Centre for Resolution of International Conflicts (CRIC) financed by Danish Council of Strategic Research (16 million Danish kroner, 2013-2016). Working as deputy director and research I contributed to e.g.: “Theorizing Three Basic Emotional Dynamics of Conflicts: A Situational Research Agenda”, Peace Research, 2014, 46(2), three chapters of the book Resolving International Conflict: Dynamics of Escalation, Continuation and Transformation (2019) and the chapter Systemic humiliation as daily social suffering i bogen Alleviating World Suffering: The Challenge of Negative Quality of Life (2017).
