The main focus of my research for the last years has been:

    • Understanding the molecular mechanisms driving disease development of both cutaneous T cells lymphoma and benign skin inflammatory diseases.
    • Understanding the role of bacterial derived metabolites in regulation of the innate and adaptive immune system in the skin, and how these impact cutanous disease development.
    • Furthermore, as part of my research focus, I have also been involved in the development of new tools for improved diagnostic distinction between benign, and malignant skin diseases (miRNA profiling, patent: WO2013011378-A1), and in development of new drug for treatment of cutaneous T cell lymphoma (pending patent: P017300DK1).
