I have a background in sociology, and am particularly interested in the use of digital media, -teaching tools and learning analytics in education. I primarily work with quantitative methods from a wide range of data sources, from surveys to website-scrapings. I also use more mixed approaches, such as quantitative ethnography.
PhD about problems, positions and artefacts in group work
In my PhD I investigate how groups work when they face problems in artefact-mediated science-education. With outset in 2-3 persons groups i 8th grade, I would look at how social positions are made possible among the material conditions their collaboration happens under.
