Research at the Department of Sociology

Department of Sociology has a strong research culture as a central part of its work. Most members of the academic staff are research active and play an important role in helping the department to remain up to date with the most recent research within its disciplines.

Our research covers themes such as welfare, marginalisation, and many others. Recently, the institute has also been involved in a number of research projects on the on-going Covid-19 epedemic.

In this section, you will find links to current and completed projects as well as links to our research groups and centres.
