Seminar with Dan Zahavi

CAPS is pleased to announce that Dan Zahavi will give a talk at CSS on April 10 @ 14-16 (room 35.3.20).

Dan Zahavi is professor of philosophy and director of the Center for Subjectivity Research at the Department of Media, Cognition and Communication, University of Copenhagen. He works on topics in the field of phenomenology, philosophy of mind, and cognitive science. He has written on the nature of selfhood, self-consciousness, intersubjectivity, social cognition, temporality, sociality, shame, empathy and collective intentionality, and is the editor of a number of books including Husserl’s Phenomenology(Stanford 2003), Subjectivity and Selfhood (MIT Press 2005), The Phenomenological Mind together with S. Gallagher (Routledge 2008/2012), Self and Other (OUP 2014), and Husserl's Legacy (OUP 2017).

The title of his talk is "Extended Minds and Shared Emotions."
